Southern Lakes Chauffeurs is a family-run business based in Wanaka, in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand. Husband and wife team, Chris and Amity have been working in the tourism industry most of their lives and have a wealth of experience in making people's holiday dreams a reality.
After learning so much working for some amazing and versatile tourism businesses all over the world for the past 20 years, we finally decided to take the leap ourselves and develop Southern Lakes Chauffeurs.
Southern Lakes Chauffeurs is an expression of our passion for sharing our part of the world with the rest of the world.
Chris loves to share the history and geography of the South Island, mixed in with a few Māori legends and has plenty of local knowledge to share while on the road with our guests.
Amity thrives on customer service excellence and goes the extra mile to make sure every guest who journeys with us has the most outstanding and unique South Island adventure!
We are both passionate about the natural wonders that this part of the world has to offer and are so excited to share our passion with visitors. Whether it's knowing the right place to stop for the most epic picnic lunch or regaling the kids with the legend of how the kiwi bird lost its wings, we aim to turn what could be just a car trip from A to B into a magical addition to a South Island experience.

We are white-label; discrete, and professional. Our vehicles are all top-of-the-range, brand-new and have the highest safety ratings, as well as being equipped for the rugged New Zealand topography.

We have a top-of-the-range, brand-new 2024 9 seater custom Ford with a capacity to safely and comfortably seat up to 7 passengers, and plans to expand our fleet in the near future.
